Storytellers of Cedar Rapids returns for
Season 3, bringing you five evenings of authentic, heartfelt, and often surprising true stories shared live on stage. Each show features a unique theme and local storytellers whose personal experiences inspire, entertain, and remind us of the connections we all share.
The season opens on
Wednesday, September 9, with
Against the Grain. From standing up for what you believe to taking unexpected risks, breaking tradition, or finding humor in life’s twists and turns, these true stories promise laughter, reflection, and conversations that continue long after the show ends.
No two Storytellers events are ever the same. One story may have you laughing out loud, while the next offers a new perspective on life. Every show also features live music from local artists and opportunities for audience members to share during Open Mic.
The featured storytellers for the September 9 show include Clint Twedt-Ball, Ayla Dawson, Rina Jensen and Sarah Van Cleve. Musical guest is Blake Shaw.
