Data for Grant Writing Workshop: Finding the Data You Need for a Successful Grant

This workshop will help you through finding the data you need for writing a successful grant proposal.
You’ll learn how to:
• Connect to 6+ data sites with useful and important data.
• Understand the data, information, and tables in the Census Bureau’s American Community Survey.
• Navigate to the websites and the geographic level that you need.
• Take a “deep dive” into 3−4 sites and practice finding items you need.
• Download data.
Who should attend?
Grant writers, nonprofit staff, planners, local officials To accommodate more organizations, attendance is limited to two per organization.
