Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation Announces Animal Welfare Grant Cycle

The Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation announces a one-time grant cycle for charitable organizations that provide animal welfare services. Applications will be accepted through Friday, June 14, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. CST.

This grant cycle is funded by an anonymous donor who has established The Houston Fund for Animals at the Community Foundation. Grants will be awarded to organizations that provide low cost spay and neuter service, animal cruelty intervention, foster care, adoptive services, food and shelter. Average grant amount will be $250.

The Community Foundation accepts applications from nonprofit organizations with a 501(c)(3) status, governmental organizations, and non-501(c)(3) organizations that have completed arrangements to obtain a fiscal sponsor. Grant applications are available here and will be accepted via email.
