Caring for the land and water has always been a big part of what we do at Prairiewoods. Dry Creek runs through our property and we wanted to do whatever we could to have a positive impact.

A Program Fund grant supported Prairiewoods Franciscan Spirituality Center’s effort to mitigate flooding, reduce peak discharges, and improve the habitat and water quality of Dry Creek. The grant helped repair the area surrounding a culvert and educated neighbors about storm water and what they could do in their own yards.
