CFO
Paula oversees the financial and administrative operations at the Community Foundation. Her responsibilities include financial accounting and reporting, budget review and analysis, fund administration, investment management, audit and tax compliance, human resources, and building maintenance.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northern Michigan University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Before joining the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation, Paula spent 17 years at the Austin Community Foundation, most recently serving as Controller.
Outside of work, Paula enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris, and their two sons, Chris and Sam. She like being outdoors, hiking, exercising, volunteering at church, reading, playing cards, and supporting her sons in their activities.
