Grant Adjustments in 2021

The Community Foundation is working to support nonprofit organizations through the derecho disaster and the COVID-19 pandemic. Our grant funding opportunities have been adjusted to offer more general support. For more information, click here.

The Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation invests in local nonprofit organizations that contribute to improving the quality of life in our community. Our grants support innovation, sustainability and capacity building.

In addition, we accept grant applications for a number of corporations and family foundations. Funding priorities are determined by the donor-advisor and may include programmatic or operating support, capital campaigns, event sponsorships and religious activities.

All competitive grant applications are accepted online through a secure grant portal. Click here for more details.
