Community Foundation Welcomes Accountant

The Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation is pleased to announce that Latonja Scott has joined the Community Foundation team as Accountant on June 26, 2017.

In this position, Ms. Scott maintains and controls the general ledger and financial transactions of the Community Foundation. In addition, she will assist the Chief Financial Officer in benefits administration and risk management.

Latonja recently completed a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Upper Iowa University.  Prior to that, she worked as an Account Clerk at the University of Northern Iowa for 13 years.

Jean Brenneman, Chief Financial Officer at the Community Foundation says, “Due to growth in contributions and grantmaking, the number of financial transactions at the Community Foundation has increased. This position will support this increased volume of work.”
