Director of Development
Melissa Pence has served the nonprofit community for over 25 years, working in fundraising and leadership roles at the Alzheimer’s Association and Sisters of Mercy, and most recently as a fundraising adviser with Amperage Marketing & Fundraising. She is excited to continue serving in a philanthropy role to connect donors with impactful projects and initiatives that enhance our community.
Melissa received her bachelor’s degree in public relations with a minor in business from Loras College and earned a Master of Strategic Leadership degree from Mount Mercy University. Melissa is also a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), a credential in which she has held since 2010.
In her spare time, Melissa and her husband Robert attend and volunteer at their son and daughter’s school and recreational activities. She also enjoys attending festivals, concerts and sporting events.
