Development Services Associate
Blenda supports the Development Team through gift processing and acknowledgements, maintaining donor records and reports, and managing the Endow Iowa Tax Credit Program.
Blenda was born in Cedar Rapids and raised in the Cedar Falls area. After living in various places and receiving a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Kansas State University, Blenda and her husband chose Cedar Rapids to raise their four children.
Prior to joining the Community Foundation, Blenda served in various roles at local nonprofits and schools. She is passionate about building a strong community and happy to be serving local nonprofits in Linn County. In her free time, Blenda enjoys spending time with family, volunteering, enjoying nature, and nature-focused travel.
