Storytellers of Cedar Rapids continues Season 3 on Wednesday, November 18, with
A Seat at the Table, an evening of authentic, heartfelt, funny, and often surprising true stories shared live on stage at Groundswell!
We all want to feel like we belong. But finding our place isn’t always easy. Sometimes we’re welcomed with open arms. Other times, we have to pull up our own chair, make room for someone else, or discover that the table we thought we wanted to sit at isn’t where we belong after all.
Join us as local storytellers share personal experiences exploring belonging, inclusion, connection, and what it means to have a seat at the table.
No two Storytellers events are ever the same. One story may have you laughing out loud, while the next moves you or offers an entirely new perspective. The evening also features live music from a local artist and an Open Mic opportunity for audience members to share their own stories.
