We’re celebrating Groundswell’s 5th birthday, and we want YOU to join us!

For the entire week of October 9-14, Groundswell Cafe will have live music and a variety of fall-themed specials, such as pumpkin cinnamon rolls, pumpkin spice coffee, and pumpkin chai tea. We will also be giving out a free birthday cookie with every meal. We hope to see you there!

Groundswell Cafe is Iowa’s first and only pay-it-forward cafe. Our mission is to provide healthy meals for everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. Through a pay-it-forward model, any “tips” or donations received from guests are deposited into a fund that is then used to provide free or reduced-cost meals for those who are struggling. The Cafe connects people socially, reduces food insecurity, and provides a healthy eating opportunity for everyone.
