8th Annual Beers in the Barnyard

Beers in the Barnyard is the major fundraising event of the Cedar Rapids Parks
Foundation. Held at Old MacDonald’s Farm, Bever Park, this casual “jeans and
flannel shirts” party is an “over 21” fundraiser featuring a picnic meal, bonfires, a
variety of local beer samplings and wine, live “chill” music and a stellar
silent auction featuring cool experiences and getaways. This event was attended
by 350 doers, donors and door openers in 2024 and CRPF is expanding to
accommodate up to 400 guests in 2025.
The $60 event ticket includes the picnic meal & desserts, beer, wine, soft drinks,
live music and fun games and giveaways. As CR Parks Foundation celebrates
our 8th Annual Beers in the Barnyard, proceeds from this year’s event will help
support enhancements and sustainability projects within our beautiful CR parks.
