Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation Announces Summer 2026 Grant Cycle
Grant Deadline: Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. CST
The Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation announces its summer grant cycle for 2026 for local charitable nonprofits. Applications will be accepted through Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. CST.
This includes a new grant opportunity from the Bruce and Judy McGrath Family Fund. This new fund will support organizations that help individuals gain access to medical, mental health, legal and educational services.
The Community Foundation accepts applications from nonprofit organizations with a 501(c)(3) status, governmental organizations, and non-501(c)(3) organizations that have completed arrangements to obtain a fiscal sponsor. Grant application information is available at www.gcrcf.org and applications can be submitted online starting Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
For this grant cycle, applications will be accepted for the following Competitive Donor-Advised Funds:
- Altorfer, Inc.
- Bloomhall Family
- Bruce and Judy McGrath Family Fund
- Diamond V
- Lil’ Drug Store Products
- World Class Industries
The Community Foundation accepts grant applications for a number of local corporations and family funds. Funding priorities are determined by each donor-advisor.
