NewBoCo Awarded Endowment Challenge Grant to Fuel Long-Term Innovation

Last fall, the New Bohemian Innovation Collaborative – or NewBoCo – was awarded an Endowment Challenge Grant to help ensure the organization’s future. The grant provides a $1 match for every $3 contributed to NewBoCo’s Endowment Challenge Fund, up to a match of $25,000, leading to a $100,000 endowed fund that will provide NewBoCo with income and financial stability for years to come.

Founded in 2014, NewBoCo supports entrepreneurship, innovation, and tech education in the area. The organization has a long-term vision to engage one million people to strengthen communities and economies. NewBoCo’s staff and board look forward to using the endowment to sustain and grow programming to reach this goal.

“We’re thrilled to have support through the Endowment Challenge Grant,” said Jill Wilkins, Executive Director. “This is the perfect opportunity for NewBoCo to launch an endowment with matching funds to excite donors with support from the Community Foundation.”
