Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation to Serve as Host Site of 2024 Volunteer Management Conference
The Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation will serve as a host site for the 2024 Volunteer Management Conference sponsored by Volunteer Management Professionals of Canada, AL!VE (Association of Leaders in Volunteer Engagement), and Better Impact. Creating Influence in Your Organization: Thinking Beyond a Seat at the Table’ will focus on equipping leaders of volunteers with skills to advocate, educate and communicate the importance of volunteer engagement, key to any volunteer program. The virtual conference begins at 8:30 a.m. and lunch will be provided. The conference streaming cost is sponsored by the Nonprofit Network of the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation so there is no cost to attend.
Designed for those who engage volunteers, service delivery programs, and nonprofits, this one-day training event features four skilled practitioners who are internationally known presenters on volunteer engagement topics.

Now in its tenth year, the Volunteer Managers Hybrid Conference is known for its unique format, live streamed to Cedar Rapids where the presenters can take questions, comments, and add input in real time from Cedar Rapids to where the speakers are presenting.
