Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation Welcomes New Vice President of Development

Michelle 2014The Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation is pleased to announce that Michelle Beisker joined the Community Foundation team as Vice President of Development on June 16, 2014.

 

As a key member of Community Foundation’s leadership team, Ms. Beisker will establish and guide the strategy for the asset development activities.  She will oversee donor services and stewardship and will provide a high level of leadership to the operations of the Community Foundation.

 

“I am thrilled to welcome Michelle to the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation team,” said Les Garner, President & CEO. “She will be instrumental in building relationships and developing our strategies to help donors fulfill their philanthropic goals.”

 

Ms. Beisker brings impressive experience in building client relationships in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors to her new role at the Community Foundation.  She served in development roles at Mount Mercy University, Waypoint Services, and PMX Industries.  Her most recent position is at Four Oaks, where she is serving as Director of the PUSH-CR Program, a housing first federal demonstration project to end family homelessness.

 

Ms. Beisker is actively involved in volunteer roles within the College Community School District, Miracles in Motion and her church.  She was also a member of the 2007 Leadership for Five Seasons class.
