Scott is the Education Director of a hunger-relief and educational farm initiative. He is also the developer of Garden Bridge Outreach, a program bringing a garden-based curriculum to schools and criminal justice system facilities – including the Linn County Youth Detention Center. He has a unique teaching style that tends to engage even the most reluctant participants.
