ABOUT
WRAP (Wheelchair Ramp Accessibility Program) provides volunteer-designed, volunteer-built wheelchair ramps and home access solutions for older adults, people with disabilities, and children and families with mobility challenges. Each ramp is ADA-compliant and built to local building codes, ensuring safety and long-term usability.
Founded in 2004 to meet a critical unmet need for those using mobility devices, WRAP works to ensure equity and independence for people of all physical abilities. In 2024 alone, we:
-
Completed 99 accessibility projects
-
Engaged 5,000 volunteer hours valued at over $173,000 (Independent Sector)
-
Delivered every project through community partnerships and donor support
With a lean, volunteer-driven model, WRAP turns every donation into direct, measurable impact—removing barriers, improving safety, and helping Iowans live independently at home.
Why choose WRAP? Every dollar you invest creates a tangible result you can see in your community: a ramp built, a door opened, a life changed.
