DESCRIPTION:Have you noticed all of the beautiful murals popping up all over Cedar Rapids lately?The Eastern Iowa Arts Academy invites you to come and take a look and how amazing they are on Sunday the 27th\, and while you’re at it\, register for a chance to win two free passes to a one-and-done adult class! (and trust us\, they are cool! Stained glass\, charcoal drawing\, Japanese marbling…)Registration is as easy as stopping at our table in front of the Ideal Theater and Bar at 11am (213 16th Ave SE). Participants will pick up the mural sheet and explore downtown Cedar Rapids\, take photos of the murals they visit\, report back to the table\, register for the drawing\, and then if you want to enjoy the rest of the day with a cold drink and great music\, check out the Rock Academy bands that will be playing on the Ideal stage from 1-4pm!The cost of the mural walk is free\, but we are always very grateful for a free will donation that will help support the Eastern Iowa Arts Academy and their mission to offer arts to all children regardless of their financial status. DESCRIPTION:Load up your pupperooski(s) and bring them by for a sweet treat to beat the heat all while supporting our Annual Pup Cup Drive-Thru Fundraiser.\n \nDonation based drive-thru with all proceeds coming back to the pups at Dogs Forever! Cash\, Check\, Venmo preferred\, cards accepted too.\n \nPup cups will be good ol’ chilled whipped cream in a cup with a snacky snack treat on top.\n \nAll are welcome! (Yesssss even cats too if pup cups are their thing.)\n \nSunday\, August 27th 3-6PM. Located in the parking lot of Geonetric! Look for EVENT signs along the roadways and our bright yellow DOGS FOREVER banner.\n \nWe can’t WAIT to see you\, and lets be honest… mostly your pups!\n \nP.S.: This is not a vendor event. Just a drive-thru style fundraiser where you don’t even get out of your vehicle (unless you want to pull over afterwards in the parking lot for your pup to enjoy their treat!). Hosted by volunteers from our shelter and our Fundraising Committee\, supporting our sweet dogs.
