Together\, we will rejoice in lives restored\, families strengthened\, and hope renewed. \nDoors will open at 6:30 p.m. for our new pre-program social hour\, featuring check-in\, a photo booth for pictures with Al & Lisa Robertson\, dessert selection\, raffle drawings\, and fellowship. Great Cause.\n\nHops for Housing is an annual fund and awareness-raising event to benefit Willis Dady Homeless Services. Our mission is to empower all experiencing homelessness to build futures of self-sufficiency through advocacy\, housing\, and employment. DESCRIPTION:Beers in the Barnyard is the major fundraising event of the Cedar Rapids ParksFoundation. Held at Old MacDonald’s Farm\, Bever Park\, this casual “jeans andflannel shirts” party is an “over 21” fundraiser featuring a picnic meal\, bonfires\, avariety of local beer samplings and wine\, live “chill” music and a stellarsilent auction featuring cool experiences and getaways. This event was attendedby 350 doers\, donors and door openers in 2024 and CRPF is expanding toaccommodate up to 400 guests in 2025.The $60 event ticket includes the picnic meal & desserts\, beer\, wine\, soft drinks\,live music and fun games and giveaways. As CR Parks Foundation celebratesour 8th Annual Beers in the Barnyard\, proceeds from this year’s event will helpsupport enhancements and sustainability projects within our beautiful CR parks.
