SUMMARY:Save CR Heritage Brick-by-Brick fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Help Save CR Heritage breathe new life into northwest Cedar Rapids! The all-volunteer nonprofit is raising funds to purchase the historic Zastera Pharmacy building to use as an architectural salvage store and community hub for the historic Time Check neighborhood. While supplies last\, donors of $100 or more will receive a brick with a Czech connection – from the Sykora Bakery auction in Czech Village – to pay tribute to the building’s first owner\, the son of Bohemian immigrants. Your name will also be included on the Save CR Heritage website and donor wall at the shop. The event coincides with our monthly salvage sale of vintage doors\, windows and more\, with sales proceeds benefiting the capital campaign\, as well. Contributions of any amount are greatly appreciated!

All proceeds will benefit children and families who stay in the Ronald McDonald Family Room of UnityPoint Health St. Luke’s Hospital to keep families close when they need it the most. \n  \nJoin us for Bubbles of fun! From Bubble Art and Bubble Tunnel to Giant Bubbles – We cover all things bubbles! \n  \nThe event is FREE\, with a suggested $20 donation/family.
