Storytellers of Cedar Rapids

Join us Tuesday, September 3 for an evening of true, personal stories around the theme “What I Thought I Knew.” This Season 2 first of four shows brings our community together through laughter, reflection, and connection as featured storytellers and open-mic participants share glimpses into their lives. The show also includes music from a local musician. Come to listen, or step up to the mic—either way, you’ll leave with a deeper appreciation for the power of a good story.
Storytellers of Cedar Rapids is presented by Matthew 25, and produced by Akwi Nji and Courtney Ball. This series helps support the Community Building pillar of Matthew 25. Refreshments will be available from Groundswell Cafe, our pay-it-forward eatery.
