There are several options for giving to the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation. You can establish a new fund, give to an existing fund, or make a general gift to support the community. By partnering with us, you can make a meaningful impact on your community.
Give to the Greater Good Fund
Donors who make gifts to the Greater Good Fund recognize the needs in our community are broad and will change over time. This unrestricted, endowed fund supports the competitive grant programs at the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation to provide funding for nonprofits meeting our community’s greatest needs and opportunities…today and tomorrow.
Give to an Existing Fund
There are over 150 endowed funds for nonprofit organizations at the Community Foundation. Search for existing funds you wish to support. The nonprofit organization will be notified of your contribution.
Give to the Disaster Recovery Fund
Give to the Disaster Recovery Fund to support communities in Linn County during disasters to provide resources where they are needed most. Currently, the fund is supporting recovery efforts from the pandemic and derecho.
Establish a New Fund
We can establish a new fund in your name, the name of your family or business, or in honor of any person or organization you choose. Every fund is customized to reflect your charitable interests and giving goals.
The Community Foundation does not solicit charitable contributions from donors who are residents of Florida, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
