Community Foundation Approves $2.9 Million in Grants
The Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation recently awarded $2.9 million in grants to 316 nonprofit organizations through September 19, 2025. The awards include summer Competitive Donor-Advised Fund grants, as well as distributions from donor-advised, designated, scholarship, and nonprofit funds.
The Community Foundation works with donors and provides grants and support to nonprofits in pursuit of a vibrant and inclusive Linn County. In 2024, the Community Foundation distributed over $12 million in grants.
