In February, the Nonprofit Network will begin a new Volunteer Engagement Peer Group. Volunteer engagement and management is a critical component of nonprofit capacity building and the Nonprofit Network looks forward to supporting the nonprofit professionals serving in those roles.
Volunteer Engagement Peer Group will meet on the third Wednesday of the month from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Community Foundation. To join the email meeting invitation list, please email Carrie Walker at carrie.walker@gcrcf.org. This new peer group opportunity is announced in the spirit of collaboration and coincides with the disbanding of the local volunteer-led group Leaders In Volunteerism to provide continued support for professional volunteer managers in the peer group format.
