We are pleased to provide these guidelines to enable nonprofit organizations and public agencies to apply for competitive grants from the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation.
These guidelines are designed to help you learn more about the priorities of the Community Foundation, the programs and services we are seeking to fund, and what we need from you in order to review your application.
The first step in preparing your grant application is choosing the right grant program or programs. The Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation makes grants to nonprofits from a number of programs.
Grant application deadlines for 2012 are 4:30 p.m. February 15, July 16, and October 15. Applications may be delivered to the 3rd floor grant program staff at the GCRCF office.
If you have questions, please contact Karla Twedt-Ball, vice president of Programs or call 319.366.2862.
Read the application process overview carefully to make sure your grant application meets various requirements and to learn more about the grant making process.
The GCRCF board and staff recruit community members to create diverse and inclusive grant and scholarship review committees, and staff ensures that grant making programs and priorities reflect a range of community needs.
The Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation realizes that it is unable to meet all the philanthropic needs of Linn County, Iowa. Not all submitted proposals, even if they meet program guidelines, are guaranteed funding.
