2010 Endow Iowa Credits
The Endow Iowa program was created to enhance Iowa's quality of life by increasing local philanthropy. Endow Iowa provides donors with state income tax incentives worth 25 percent of the amount of the gift. This program was instituted as a catalyst to help build endowments.
The Endow Iowa program has been authorized to offer $4 million in tax credits each year. Credits are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Eligible gifts made now will be awarded credits for the 2010 tax year.
More information about the program including the tax credit application form and updated information on the tax credit status can be found at http://www.iowalifechanging.com/endowiowa.
